Why I Wrote This Book
We live in a world that is constantly reaching for our attention. Every morning, we wake up to notifications, emails, breaking news, and endless opinions on how we should live, work, and lead. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed, confused, and constantly behind.
I started learning Sanskrit in my mid-twenties, and I fell in love with the language and the depth of wisdom in its literature. Over time, many of these quotes became my personal favorites. I found myself returning to them again and again, using them in my writing, my speeches, and my coaching conversations. More than anything, I have tried to live my life guided by these reminders.
Looking back on my life and career, I realize the most important lessons didn’t come from complicated theories or trendy business hacks. They came from simple, foundational truths that have stood the test of time for centuries.
Sanskrit quotes carry a unique kind of clarity. They act like a quiet mirror, stripping away the noise and asking us simple questions: Are you doing what you said you would do? Are you keeping your mind calm under pressure? Are you lifting up the people around you?
I have intentionally selected non-religious quotes for this collection. This book promotes no particular religion or theology; it focuses on practical life wisdom, character, and self-mastery.
I wrote this book for two primary reasons:
To share this wisdom with others, making it accessible and relevant to modern life without getting lost in overly complex language.
To create a practical handbook you can keep on your desk or bedside table to navigate daily challenges.
You do not need to memorize ancient terms or study dense textbooks to grow as a leader, a parent, or a human being. You just need practical wisdom you can apply today, whether you're walking into a meeting room, talking to your team, or sitting down with your family.
This book is compiled into ten simple, straightforward chapters, each focusing on one core area of personal and professional growth. I hope these pages serve as a steady companion on your journey, something you can return to whenever you need a quick reset, a moment of focus, or a reminder of what truly matters.
Quiet Mirror will be on Amazon in the next 2 weeks as an ebook, paperback, and hardcover.
